The 2018 EdoFest comes alive from December 17 – 22, 2018 in Benin City. It will be an opportunity for lovers of arts and culture and tourists to experience the rich cultural heritage of Edo people.
Mr Osaze Osemwingie-Ero, the Edo State Honourable Commissioner for Arts, Culture, Tourism and Diaspora Affairs, says this year’s festival will feature a photo exhibition of Benin artefacts in different parts of the world. “We shall also use EdoFest as a story telling opportunity of our rich historical sites, tourism potentials and unique dances and costumes, Osemwingie-Ero added.
The theme for 2018 EdoFest is, “Harnessing Arts and Culture for Sustainable Economic Development”.
