Best of English (BOE) is an initiative of a group of English Language enthusiasts who are concerned about the declining quality of spoke and written English in Nigeria. There was a time when most graduates from Nigerian universities spoke good English, but sadly, those times are past and the decline appears to be getting worse. What then is the solution?

Best of English is an intervention to curb the decline in the use of English Language. An annual online competition (first stage) will be organised for JS2 and SS2 students in secondary schools in Nigeria. There are also tutorial packages for students and English Language courses for others.

By upgrading their competencies in written and spoken English, we expect students, adults and professionals who take part in BOE classes and examinations become more aware of the basics of effective communications.
